本网讯 目前，紫金矿业旗下卡莫阿-卡库拉一期第一序列380万吨/年采选工程整体施工已完成90%，将于二季度竣工，7月实现首批铜精矿生产。3月份，项目共采出40万吨铜矿石、品位5.36%，地表堆场矿石储备量攀升至256万吨、品位约4.60%，铜金属量超过11.7万吨。

Zijin News, The construction of Kakula’s Phase 1 3.8Mtpa processing plant has completed 90% and is expected to complete by the end of June 2021. Phase 1 processing plant is scheduled to start production in July 2021. The construction of phase 2 3.8Mtpa processing plant has also progressed well. Kamoa-Kakula project has mined 400,000 tonnes of ore grading 5.36% copper in March which brings the total of ores contained by surface stockpiles to 2.56M tonnes with an average grade of 4.6%.

卡莫阿-卡库拉铜矿拥有资源储量超过4369万吨，投产后将成为全球品位最高的大型铜矿，平均入选品位超过6.0%。初始年开采矿石380万吨，其后于2022年三季度提升产能至760万吨/年，年产40万吨铜。

Kamoa-Kakula has more than 43.69 Million tonnes of copper resources. The average feed grade is over 6% which makes it become the highest grade copper mine in the world. The designed processing capacity is 3.8Mtpa in the first year and will increase to 7.6Mtpa in third quarter 2022 with annual production of 400 Thousands tonnes of copper.

项目一期二序列380万吨/年选厂施工目前进展顺利，重点进行的土方和土木工程均超过既定目标，首批长周期设备已经完成生产，并将于6月送达现场；正在谈判钢材、机械、管道和钣金的安装合同，预计近期达成协议。

鉴于当前铜价持续向好（目前约9100美元/吨），卡莫阿-卡库拉铜矿正加快研究新一期扩建，计划将选厂产能提升至1140万吨/年，届时年产铜将达到53万吨。

Given the current copper price environment, Zijin and Ivanhoe are exploring the acceleration of the Kamoa-Kakula Phase 3 concentrator expansion from 7.6Mtpa to 11.4Mtpa, which would bring annual copper production to 530,000 tonnes.

卡莫阿-卡库拉铜矿将ESG理念融入建设全过程。项目一期铜精矿销售协议即将达成。按照世界标准，卡库拉预计生产品位极高的清洁铜精矿 (铜品位超过55%)，砷含量极低、约为0.01%，将成为世界各地冶炼厂高度期待的绿色原料。

Kamoa-Kakula is nearing completion of agreements with respect to the sale of its copper concentrates during Phase 1 operations. Kakula is expected to produce an extremely high-grade, clean copper concentrate (containing over 55% copper) containing extremely low arsenic levels by world standards – approximately 0.01% that will be highly coveted by smelters around the world.

矿山还积极开展“可持续民生计划”，持续做好用工本土化、种植园项目、缝纫就业项目及兴建学校等。同时，项目还接入清洁、可再生水电；加拿大Hatch公司对项目2020年温室气体强度指标进行了独立审核，确定项目将会成为全球单位铜温室气体排放最低的矿山之一。

Clean and renewable hydropower will be used for the project. A 2020 independent audit of Kamoa-Kakula's greenhouse gas intensity metrics performed by Hatch Ltd. of Mississauga, Canada, confirmed that the project will be among the world's lowest greenhouse gas emitters per unit of copper produced.
